CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale is an independent, voluntary organisation campaigning for real ale, community pubs and consumer rights. The organisation is divided in to numerous regional branches, and I was honoured enough to be on the committee and webmaster for the SE London branch.

After years of fairly bland-looking sites, a branch member – who is a creative designer – produced the current, beautiful look and feel, which I then converted in to a WordPress theme and built in to the site.

Integration with the branch diary (a Google calendar), the Twitter feed and a directory of pubs, gives the site a distinct superiority to most branches’ websites. A mobile version allows members to access the most useful information – the branch diary and the contact forms.
